Chloe Lodge is a storyteller photographer based in New Zealand. She loves to illustrate life with light and digs deep into the shadows of her everyday. Since completing a Masters in Photojournalism and Documentary photography in Paris eight years ago she’s worked as a lifestyle, wedding and birth photographer across Malaysia, The Seychelles and the Middle East. Since moving to New Zealand Chloe has taken time out from shooting clients to focus on her personal work and write her recently published book ‘For the Love of the Photograph’, a divine, pocket sized treasure trove of inspiration, information and imagery.
The Power and Importance of Personal Projects
Chloe will talk about the successes she’s had as well as the challenges which have come from working on purely personal projects. She will also speak about the importance of marrying personal projects with client work in a balance of presentation and open discussions. Being a Brit who has lived overseas for most of the past fifteen years she's excited to return home and share her experiences and adventures, photographic and otherwise, with you all.
